Jacksonville, Fla. — Hatcher Insurance announced the continued expansion of its North Florida presence under the leadership of Case Walther, who joined the firm in March 2023 and now serves as the market lead for the region. Based in Jacksonville, he brings a strong combination of technical experience, client focus and local market insight that reinforces Hatcher’s position as a leading insurance partner across North Florida.
Case entered the industry eight years ago after graduating from the University of West Florida with a degree in applied statistics and financial mathematics. He was recruited by a respected Jacksonville employee benefits firm to help build its property and casualty practice, where he played a key role in the firm’s evolution from a start‑up environment to an acquisition, an IPO and ultimately becoming one of the 15 largest insurance firms in the nation.
Throughout this period of growth, Case developed deep experience supporting large and complex organizations with loss‑sensitive risk financing structures. His work with employers helped shape a reputation for technical proficiency and a commitment to long‑term client success.
While his experience in a large, publicly traded organization provided significant technical development, Case chose to join Hatcher Insurance to take on a greater leadership role and contribute to a firm known for its personalized client service, strong culture and industry thought leadership.
